A chilly beach day

Yesterday, my sister, brother-in-law and their daughter came to visit from London so my dad, other sister and brother-in-law, their two children and I decided to go out for lunch and have a beach day! I don't often see my oldest sister as she lives so far down south, so it was really nice to all have some proper family time together!
We went to a lovely restaurant overlooking the sea, I had lasagne, chips and a fruity salad which was absolutely gorgeous. The portions were huge and I couldn't finish mine but now I'm wishing I had!

Now I'm not going to lie, it wasn't exactly ideal weather for a beach day...


But I warmed up with a hot chocolate! Hope you're all having a great Halloween!

    This looks like such a good day! We've been going to the beach every day this week on our holiday and the weather has been similar to that too, I prefer it because then it's empty!
